The attorneys at Stone & Hiles have over 100 years in collective experience of handling toxic tort claims. These claims have continuously represented a significant segment of our practive, and do so at the present time. Over the last 50 years, toxic tort claims have grown in magnitude and frequency, and have altered the legal landscape of our country's litigation process. As new products enter the marketplace or as medical research progresses, new practice areas arise in which these claims proliferate. At each juncture, the attorneys at Stone & Hiles have been there to assist clients in the areas of compliance and litigation. For example, in 1995, the firm was charged with the rewsponsibility of serving as Lead Pharmacy Counsel for all of the Fen-Phen cases in California, and then, within various other states, coordinating mass litigation in all of these matters. Since 2002 the firm has been chosen by several insurance companies to be their National Coordinating Counsel for all of their mold claims. The firm developed a nationally recognized mold defense strategy that is now employed in the defense of these matters.
